1. GENERAL

Through your agreement or transaction with DBK, personal data about you is collected.
These guidelines are prepared in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), applicable in Denmark from 25 May 2018, as well as the new Danish Data Protection Act, which supplements the GDPR and the current Personal Data Act (collectively referred to as “applicable legislation”).

Below you can read about the information we collect, how the data is processed, what it is used for, who has access to it, and who you can contact if you have questions or objections regarding the collected information.

2. PERSONAL DATA

2.1 What is personal data?

DBK requests your basic contact information when you enter an agreement or transaction with the company.
This primarily includes details such as name, address, postal code, telephone and mobile number, email, etc. Information regarding companies such as A/S or ApS does not relate to a physical person and is therefore not covered by the GDPR.

The personal data we collect is used to identify you as a customer and to deliver the services you have purchased from us.
The data collected in connection with fulfilling the agreement will be stored in our IT systems and/or in a physical register.

2.2 How long do we store personal data?

The storage period depends on how long your agreement with the company exists.
When you purchase a service from DBK, we need your personal data as documentation until the service is paid and delivered, any cancellation period has expired, and payment deadlines have passed.

During the ongoing contractual relationship, your data is stored in our IT system, after which it is archived.
According to current regulations, your personal data will generally be stored for 5 years from the end of the financial year to which the material relates.

For example: If your agreement ended in November 2021 and the financial year follows the calendar year, we are required to store your data until at least the end of 2026.

Once your personal data is no longer relevant and we are no longer required to store it, all data relating to you will be deleted.

2.3 What do we use personal data for?

The personal data we collect about you to fulfil our agreement is primarily used for standard customer administration, including fulfilling the agreement and issuing invoices.

As a general rule, the data will not be disclosed to third parties.
However, your basic contact information may be shared with our partners if necessary to fulfil the agreement.

Any other disclosure is only permitted if applicable legislation explicitly allows the sharing of personal data.

2.4 Right to access your personal data

As a customer or supplier of DBK, you have the right to receive confirmation of whether we process personal data about you, and if so, access to the data.

You also have the right to request and receive the personal data you have provided to us (data portability).
Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data.

2.5 Right to rectification of your personal data

You have the right to have incorrect personal data about you corrected without undue delay.

2.6 Right to deletion of your personal data

You have the right to have your personal data deleted without undue delay if we no longer have a legitimate interest in storing it.
Please note: If DBK is legally required to keep your data, you cannot demand that it be deleted.

2.7 Protection of personal data

According to applicable legislation, your personal information must be stored securely and confidentially.
We store the personal data you provide in the company’s IT system.

Our security measures are continuously reviewed to ensure that the handling of your personal data is performed responsibly and with full respect for your rights as a customer.

2.8 Changes to the processing of personal data

We reserve the right to update and change these guidelines for the processing of personal data.
